TG50 MLC Test

Description

The TG50 Transmission analysis can be used to automatically measure mid-leaf and inter-leaf transmission. The analysis can accurately measure leaf leakages as low as 0.25 cGy.

The software analysis can then calculate the amount of leakage based on the user’s input of the amount of dose given from the accelerator.

The plot displays the mid-leaf and inter-leaf transmission leakage statistics. The data can also be exported to the RIT statistical trend analysis database.

The analysis in this routine corresponds to the recommendations of AAPM Task Group TG50.
